Good old days

This year Zodiac Horoscope claims that I should be having a better year compare to last. 'They' claimed that I got money luck. I wonder how trust worthy can it be?

After coming back from JB after the CNY, I went to buy 4D. The numbers was from a "CAI SHEN" picture. I, strike and won $500. The rest of the family, not so lucky. It was a good start for the "Niu Year". I assumed.

However, once after Monday (15th day of CNY), things did not went smoothly.

1. On Tuesday, for no reason, I was late for a meeting that morning. I was made to treat everyone for canteen break. Nvm, only cost me about $12.

2. On Thursday, I woke up having flu, bad cough and sore throat. Went back to my company's clinic, got some medication and 2 days MC. Sobz.

3. Then this morning, 2 things happened. After sending Zalliot to class, I drove to a nearby hawker center for breakfast. I ordered kopi and fishball noodle soup. While eating, an irritating fly was flying around me. So, I swing my palm like everyone did to chase away the fly. Without realising, I actually smacked that pest, it somehow lost it's balance and dived into my kopi! Wa Biang Eh! NVM. Costed me only $0.90.

4. This is the best part, after the breakfast,I bought some papers and headed home. As I drove to this cross junction, I queued behind several cars which were about to turn right. As i approached the junction, I saw the car in front started to pick up his speed. So I accelerated and at the same time checked for on coming traffic. Suddenly, the car in front of me jammed break! I was too close to react and ended up kissing his ass. WTF! That fellow got a dent at his rear bumper. Mine, only some small cosmetic scares. After some negotiation, we decided to settle without any claims and $300 for his damages. This costed $300 less my own repair.

FYI, I'm driving my dad's car for these few days because we swapped our cars for his Malaysia trip.

So, is this the Money Luck I should have? or did I brought forward my unluckyness last year?

I'll take some time to consolidate my ideas and thought and will post in the next few posts.
