My 1st Trial...

Tuesday, December 2, 2008 by Dondabao

It's festive season now. The entire Orchard Road was filled with Christmas decorations. So I brought my family there to see the decorations, and to test my E520. That evening, I took about 500 shots, most of it were not satisfying. The photos appeared to be very dark. Frankly, the camera was not easy to operate. Especially when I tried to shoot Zalliot. It requires a lot of practices.

advise from friend

"I would recommend M mode, set the aperture to f3.5, shutter speed at 1/20, ISO at 800, on image stabiliser and use flash, but the flash set it to -2. Should be ok, but if too bright or over exposed, just adjust the shutter speed accordingly. Hope this helps :)"

I will try it out. thanks

Can kit lens got to F/3.5? Apeture depends on alot of things. U can use other settings to achieve the desired picture. The pic looks alittle orangey to me. Perhaps WB needs to be tungsten. ISO at 800 and 1600 can be tested to test for noise. Unless you're not pixel picker, it'll do fine. Flash wise, go for external flash.
